Quejío
Cristina Casadevall · Antología de la Danza series
Trápala was born from the painting of Cristina Casadevall. Atelier is the slowest part of that craft: pieces that take their print from a single work and are made by hand in Spain, one at a time. The cut decides which part of the painting each garment carries; that is why no two are alike and none is made again. Each release is numbered and never restocked. What remains is a collector’s piece, with its origin, its number and its date.
A painting is not repeated.
It is cut.
Carbone

Carbone comes from the Color en Movimiento series. A black stroke over pink, carried into cloth. Two pieces, each from a different part of the painting.
The bow

The shirt ties at the neck. The stroke darkens toward the hem and the cuffs.
Quejío
Kimono Quejío · Conjunto Quejío
Quejío comes from the Antología de la Danza series. Dancing figures in loose strokes on a light ground. The colour gathers below, where the body moves.
The hem
Conjunto Quejío
The colour builds up below, where the body moves. That is where the trouser hem falls.
